Quality Management
Shortly after the establishment of the company, KBT GmbH introduced a quality management system according to DIN-ISO 9001 : 2008 certification requirements. This range of certification comprises the following areas: The mechanical processing of metal and plastic parts, the assembly of modules, the distribution of bus doors as well as dealing with spare parts. DQS GmbH (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen) (German Association for Certification of Management Systems) certifies that KBT has introduced a quality management system being used throughout their business operations.
Reaudit 2011: In mid-June 2011, a reaudit was done by DQS GmbH at our premises. Our company easily met the necessary requirements of this reaudit.

KBT is in possession of a D-U-N-S Number
The D-U-N-S Number (Data Universal Numbering System) is an international number code for uniquely identifying companies worldwide. This D-U-N-S Number System is accepted and recommended by the United Nations, the European Commission, the Association of the Automotive Industry, the ISO and the Association of the Chemical Industry. KBT acquired this D-U-N-S Number and is now in a very good position to supply every medium and large-size company with its products.
KBT GmbH ( Kiekert Bustüren GmbH ) is the successor company of Deans-Kiekert GmbH.
KBT GmbH, the Velbert located manufacturer of bus doors and boarding systems, has taken over the business transactions of Deans-Kiekert GmbH, the reputable supplier of bus doors. Prior to its bankruptcy towards the end of 2009, Deans-Kiekert GmbH had been manufacturing bus and boarding systems for almost all of the European bus manufacturers.
